Revision Agent
Manage additional and change work in a timely, clear, and transparent way.
In construction and building services engineering projects, additional and change work often arises through change sheets uploaded to the project bank. From a contractual perspective, these should be identified, processed, and quoted as soon as possible — before the work is carried out.
In practice, this is difficult. The project manager does not always have time to continuously monitor the project bank, and new change sheets may go unnoticed. As a result, the quote is sent late — in the worst case, only after the work has already been completed. This creates ambiguity: from the contractor’s perspective, the cost impact is not addressed in time, and for the client, the matter may come as a surprise afterwards.
Identify, track, and process additional and change work at the right time
The Revision Agent monitors project material and highlights additional and change work, deadlines, and items requiring action. The project manager gets a clear overview of what has been identified, what needs to be quoted, what has already been processed, and which items require decisions.
Benefits for all parties
All project stakeholders benefit from a controlled additional and change work process.
The contractor gains better conditions for ensuring that cost impacts are identified, documented, and quoted in accordance with the contracts. The client gets a transparent process in which changes are handled on time, instead of cost impacts being raised only after the work has been completed. Project management has less manual monitoring to do and better control over the project’s financials.
When changes are identified immediately, their cost impacts can be addressed openly, at the right time, and before the work is carried out. This reduces surprises, disputes, and retrospective clarification for all parties.
What does the Revision Agent do?
- identifies new change sheets, as well as additional and change work, from project material
- keeps track of actions related to contracts, deadlines, and processing
- monitors what has been identified, quoted, approved, carried out, and invoiced
- ensures that quotes are sent on time
- improves the project’s financial overview
- reduces person-dependent and manual monitoring
Not another heavy system
The LTMT Assistant supports existing ways of working. It uses existing project material, such as project bank documents and change sheets, and helps highlight the relevant items while there is still time to act on them.
As a result, additional and change work no longer depends on individual people’s memory, time pressure, or scattered information. It progresses in a controlled, timely, and transparent way — for the benefit of all project parties.
A fair and dispute-free construction site is in everyone’s interest. Time can then be spent on high-quality construction, not on retrospective clarification and arguments.
